 Quentin Thomas or "Coach Q" is an Oakland kid through and through. Born and raised in East Oakland, Quentin found his passion in basketball early. He attended Oakland Tech High School where he was able to accomplish a lot on the basketball team. Which then led to Quentin receiving a full basketball scholarship to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was a part of a national championship team in 2005, appeared in 2 final fours, and is top 15 in wins at the University All Time. He's played with and against many great NBA and overseas players. With well over a decade of coaching and skill development work, Quentin has a tremendous insight on the game and has helped a lot of players and parents along his basketball journey. 

 I am a certified personal trainer who holds a B.A. in Organizational Management.  I have a diverse athletic background that includes basketball, collegiate baseball and 22 years of martial arts training.  I was also a point sparring fighter for the world renowned Team Paul Mitchell, a professional sport karate team. Over the last 9 years, I have provided fitness training and sports performance training to countless Bay Area residents.  My current services include personal, group, and sports performance sessions.  Sessions are offered daily in Oakland and/or San Leandro.  Please contact me for more information or to request a session.
